Becky Kampmeyer spent nearly two decades buying, renovating, furnishing, staging and selling homes before starting Beck & Co Design.

That hands-on experience shaped the way she approaches every project today: a home should look beautiful, work for real life and make sense for the investment you’re making in it.

A Different Path Into Design

Becky’s experience with homes started long before Beck & Co.

For nearly twenty years, she was involved in the process of buying homes, seeing their potential, making renovation decisions, furnishing them, preparing them for market and learning firsthand which choices made the biggest difference.

Over time, design became the part she loved most.

She learned how much a room can change when the layout is right, how finishes need to work together instead of being chosen one at a time, and how the smallest details can completely change the way a home feels.

Eventually, that experience became Beck & Co Design.

Beautiful, But Never Just for Show

Becky believes good design should make a home easier to live in, not harder.

That means thinking about how people actually use a room — where they sit, where they walk, what needs to be stored, how the lighting feels at night and whether the space still works when real life is happening in it.

A home can be polished without feeling precious.

The goal is always to create spaces that feel personal, comfortable and thoughtfully put together.

Design With the Whole Home in Mind

Because Becky’s background includes renovation, staging and real estate, she naturally looks beyond individual furniture pieces or finish selections.

She considers how a room connects to the rest of the home, which changes are worth investing in and where a simpler solution may actually be better.

That perspective is especially valuable during renovations, when decisions about cabinetry, lighting, flooring, furniture and finishes all affect one another.

The goal isn’t to make every project bigger. It’s to make the right decisions for the home.

Becky Leads Every Project Personally

Beck & Co is intentionally personal.

Becky is involved from the first conversation through the design decisions and final details. Clients are not handed off to a different designer after the initial meeting.

That direct involvement keeps the project consistent and gives clients one clear point of view throughout the process.

What It’s Like to Work With Beck & Co

Clients often come to Becky because they know something about a space isn’t working, but they don’t necessarily know how to fix it.

That’s completely fine.

You don’t need to arrive with a finished vision or know the name of every design style you like. Becky helps narrow the options, connect the decisions and create a direction that feels right for your home.

The process should make the decisions clearer, not more overwhelming.
